"While this stay lacks in the polished stays of a fancy resort it makes up ten-fold in charm and personality. This was the coziest most wonderful stay we've had on our trip yet and we'll definitely be back. Located a mere 4 minute walk from the train station and a 1 minute from the beach this was the low key break we needed. The stay was clean with great amenities. "The moment we entered the apartment, we were amazed by the modern interior and owner’s attention to details. TV box allows YouTube videos and the garden has lots outdoor equipments though we didn’t use any due to the weather. Room is spacious and the kitchen has large variety of small electrical appliances. We cooked over the two day stay and enjoyed the meals on the large dining room table. Though the railway is right in front of the house, there wasn’t a lot of trains passing by at night....

"The staff is excellent and helpful. The location is convenient to get to Hakone loop. The dinner in Cascade restaurant is excellent, 5 star delicious. The scenery surrounding the hotel is also very beautiful. Most impressive is the staff's outstanding service. It's almost like you are their life line."

"La Vista Atami is an absolutely stunning hotel where no detail has been overlooked. The property is beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean and offers a peaceful atmosphere throughout. The public indoor and outdoor baths are spectacular and the private baths and spa facilities provide the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. The hotel is ideally located directly opposite Sun Beach, offering beautiful views and easy access to the waterfront. Despite being situated on a hill, the hotel is very accessible thanks to its convenient slope lift, which provides easy access to the beach, local restaurants and nearby shops. The buffet breakfast and dinner were exceptional, offering a wonderful selection of both Japanese and Western dishes to suit all tastes. Overall, La Vista Atami exceeded our expectations and provided a luxurious and memorable stay. We would not hesitate to return."

"Perhaps the best hotel we have ever visited. The personal onsen baths are amazing with a magnificent view of the bay. The room itself was expansive and beautiful. All drinks in the fridge are free. Breakfast is excellent . The staff is A+++ and very accommodating. The happy hour with free unlimited drinks is a nice perk. One caveat— checkin starts at 3 p.m. and not a minute sooner."
