"The location was perfect, really perfect, right in the middle of everything. The staff was helpful and booked us a fun whale watch. The room was very nice and they served a wonderful breakfast."

Such good hospitality, loved staying here. We had a car so getting around was easy. The staff are so lovely to talk to and they recommended some great places to eat. The room is small but the bed is so comfy, one of the best sleeps I had.

We loved our stay here. We stayed 3 nights in May 2026. It is on the marina with beautiful views. It’s a shirt walk to lots of local cafes and eateries and around 10-15 mins to the centre of Reykjavik for shopping and bars. Just a 5 minute walk from bus stop 4 which is where we got picked up for tours and the airport. Would highly recommend!

Stayed at the Urban Deluxe Twin Room and was upgraded to a corner room which was quiet and away from the main road. The room was very spacious and luxurious with all amenities provided. The only negative was the shower area had some mould on the tiles (perhaps require a bit more cleaning).
The hotel is located only 3 mins walk to Bus Stop 4 Miðbakki which serves as a convenient and accessible departure point for day tours and airport pick-ups / drop-offs. It is also within 10-15 mins walking...

My wife and I spent a very comfortable 3 nights in Hotel Borg. It is a lovely old Art Deco-era hotel, and has been beautifully renovated in keeping with the original style. It is ideally located in the heart of downtown Reykjavik. We found it comfortable and quiet; just what we needed after 32 hours of travelling.

Great location. We stayed in the top floor studio apartment. It was more than spacious enough for the two of us. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we required. Loved the front balcony. Ample supply of hot water. Great heating. Loved everything about this place.

A stunning way to begin or end a trip in Iceland. Where you can explore the local offering and cook for yourself.
After some serious rearranging, B2 Apartments by Heimaleiga seemed like the perfect place to settle for a few nights; it was advertised as a home away from home, and it didn’t disappoint.
We were able to do laundry, have home cooked meals, snuggled on the couch and watched movies. It was the perfect rest after being on the road for over a week. We loved this apartment; it was new...
