The hotel is ideally located on a quiet square one block behind the main road. In a matter of two minutes, you were in the middle of the action. The bed was comfy and staff was lovely and helpful.

Hotel Borg is a classic hotel, loved the art deco vibe. The sauna facilities are awesome we used multiple times. I personally found the mattress in our room the most comfortable of any I can remmeber. And you can't beat the downtown location. We're sad to leave but will be back

Excellent location. Walking distance to almost anywhere in the downtown area. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room size could be little bigger. Excellent shower in the bathroom. Finding a street parking could be challenging as it’s in a very busy area.

I guess Iceland is expensive and therefore the prices you pay don't go as far as in other places. We paid 800 usd per night for a Room that in other place would cost 300 to 400 usd. The place has a small lobby that gets crowded with people arriving before 3.00 pm since it only has room for probably 12 people. The elevator is small and gets crowded too. Location is good since it has a nice park in front and bars and restaurants. Service is good but don't expect much help since they don't have people to help you but the 2 girls at the reception.

Room was nice - desk, Nespresso, tea, refrigerator, great shower, great bed and bedding. Nice casual bar. Good seating areas. Great location! In the courtyard right across the street there is a FABULOUS free city walk at 10 am weekdays and 10:40 am Saturday. Sign up online. Parking was easy! On the streets nearby and city hall underground lot. Close to great restaurants snd the amazing food hall. We got coffee and sweet roll at bakery just a block away. Delicious! Great choice. Highly recommend! Book Messina restaurant early - best fish in the city!
