Super friendly staff! Good basic breakfast and clean. We stayed here our first night and ended up rebooking for pur last night. It's a great location and good breakfast. We stayed in the main building and the one across the street and both were wonderful. Easily walkable from downtown and adequate parking close to the hotel.
Iceland was a wonderful place to visit! Hotel location was great! Staff were kind and helpful. The room was a bit small and the bathroom was very small and poorly lit. Breakfast was a bit limited but I did enjoy the fresh fruit. With that said I would stay there again!
I loved the location of the hotel, right across the street from the famous church. The staff was great, and the rooms had everything we needed. We used the bus from BSI Terminal in both directions since the bus stop #8 was right next to the church across the street. Very convenient!
This is my fourth times staying at this hotel. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. It's also closer to the bus stop 8 for any bus trip that I may have. I would be most likely to return to this hotel in my future plan.
Great location for everything and if you are taking Get Your Guide tours the pick up is just across the street. The bed was super comfortable after a long day touring. I would stay there again!
Good location next to the big church and walkable from the BSI bus station where the bus from Keflavik goes to.
Lovely room with really comfy bed. Very quiet at night too.
Shower was great once I managed to get hot water coming out.
Although the TV worked fine there were few channels to choose from.
Continental breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. They also have free coffee, tea & hot chocolate in the lobby.
Staff were happy to store my luggage for a couple of hours before I got the bus to Keflavik.
The location is really very ideal , covenient and close-2min walk, to Bus Stop #8 ( one of the common bus stop for excursion pick ups) and BSI Bus Terminal ( main bus terminal for airport transfers, excursions, etc..15 to 20min walk)
It is easy to find for it is right in front of the Hallgrimskirkja church( tallst church, which can be seen anywhere from downtown Reyjkjavik/tourist area.
Staff are very helpful and accomodating. The buffer breakfast is a good deal ( $25 CAD per person) considering eating breakfast anywhere in the area will cost way more.Unlimited cofee and tea for guest 24/7 is a very good perks.
Just something to consider: Hotel does not have an elevator , showers might be too tight for some, and the church bells rings every hour ( I cannot remember upto what time in the evening). If you are all okay with these, I highly reccomend staying in Hotel Leifur Eiriksson
