With all the great reviews, our expectation was high on this hotel . It is a nice hotel close to the center ,street parking in front and back, which was nice. When we checked in the elevator was under repair so we had to climb 4 floors with our suitcases. The staff were very nice and helpfull , and we had a partial view of the bay. We did not use the breakfast buffet , since it was a litte pricy, but so is everythig in Iceland since pretty much everything is imported. ovrall I would recommend this Hotel .

This was an absolutely amazing hotel. The breakfast was incredible, the coffee was smooth and strong, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Rooms were of good size, clean and neat. Coffee was available in the room with a nepresso machine for coffee or expresso. A fast pot was also available for coffee and tea. Bathroom was clean with excellent water pressure. Breakfast was great with American or Canadian bacon, scrambled eggs, bread, jellies, deli meats, oatmeal, and more. Coffee, teas, juices and milk available. I recommend this hotel and would stay there in the future.

The room was clean and bright and decor was very tasteful. It had an eco vibe. We stayed for one week and our room was cleaned twice. The staff were helpful although we did have a small misunderstanding at one point about the evening meal offering and room cleaning but they went over and above to rectify this. Sadly breakfast isn't included in the price but it looks great although expensive like most things in Iceland. A big bonus is the free parking right outside which is a Godsend in Reykjavik. It was a 10 minute walk into the main part of town and close to a supermarket and was in a quiet area. I would stay here again.

Very nice place with rooms that feel like your on vacation! Had great distance to some restaurants and shopping not too far away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Reykjavik but leisurely as it is not close to the airport but more fore those staying in Reykjavik.
