"Lovely, reasonably priced hotel in NYC"
Brilliant hotel in the Upper East Side. Received a free upgrade upon arrival and was very impressed with the rooms. Fantastic views, comfy beds and high enough to avoid the noise of the beeping taxis. Good gym and even given access to computers in order to print out boarding passes. Gym provided a great opportunity for filling up water bottles. Friendly staff who are always welcoming and accommodating. Only real downside to the hotel is the location. The hotel is a good 20 minute walk to the subway stations on 63rd and 59th street, which can be tiring after a long day exploring. It's a good hour to walk into Times Square so be prepared and pack comfortable footwear. Lots of nice little restaurants around, particularly Burger Heavem for breakfast and a small pizzeria down buy the 59th street subway.

"Modern bright hotel in great location"
Excellent clean hotel with fantastic staff: we were particularly impressed by the concierges, particularly Ella, who was charming and extremely helpful. A couple of minor gripes: air conditioning was inefficient and very noisy. Also there was a limit of three devices per room for the free wifi access which was extremely unhelpful as we were a family of four.

Pocket Guide: New York Upper East Side 4 stars Hotels

Of all the superlatives used to describe the Upper East Side, one word is apt: richest. Some of the city’s wealthiest residents live in the high rises that line Fifth Avenue. Be prepared to spend an entire day at the Museum of Metropolitan Art. Both a physical and art-world behemoth, the Met is home to several masterworks, from an intact ancient Nubian temple to post-modern color studies.
