"Despite the stated 3:00 pm check- in time, our rooms were not avaliable when we arrived at the hotel after 5:00 pm. It was after 6:00 pm before one of our two rooms became available. Our second room was available by the time we came back from dinner. However, we soon discovered the inner liner sheet of the shower curtain (the sheet that goes in the tub to keep water from splashing onto the bathroom floor) was missing in one room, and the container of body wash in the other room was completely empty. It took about an hour for the hotel to replace the a shower curtain liner one we notified them. This made it take longer for us to get ready for bed, thereby making a long day of travel from So. Cal. even longer. On the positive side, the rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for subway access and is close to many theaters (several within walking distance)."

"The facility was close to everything, including several prime subway lines. Staff was pleasant and always hustling, especially in the breakfast area. They warn you ahead of time that after 8am it it quite busy and that's an understatement. After 7:30am, we would have to wander looking for the first available seat. The elevators were a 5-7 minute wait from 9-10:30, as it was peak breakfast and checkout time. We often took the stairs down to expedite the wait (14 floors), which drops you right into the breakfast area. It was quiet for sleeping and a very compact room, similar to Moxy."
