“Great Hotel in Great Location”
My stay here was very pleasurable. I would definitely recommend to others looking for a new, clean, well-appointed hotel with fantastic access to the CBD. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too.

“Lovely hotel - great location”
My daughter and I stayed here two nights and absolutely loved the place. Hotel nearing completion of multi million dollar renovation - rooms were well laid out, wonderful shower, beds like pillow tops. Location within walking distance of everything! Staff very helpful and extremely friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.
“Great value for money”
Great value for money. Couldn't fault it. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very convenient, quiet location. Easy access from Airport Shuttle.
“Great value and location”
An excellent value hotel. We got a deal which included an upgrade and free car parking for a great price. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Central city location between the Terrace and Lambton Quay is fantastic.
“Comfort and convenience”
Two nights spent at the new Travelodge in Wellington (downtown) was a bright spot in a two-week trip to New Zealand. I planned to stay at another hotel, but checked for cheaper rates just before booking. Expedia provided more choices than other web sites, and also offered the lowest rates. This Travelodge had the best combination of price and location for meeting my needs. Even though I checked in four hours earlier than anticipated and before normal check in time, this was not a problem for the hotel staff. The staff was extremely helpful in processing my check-in/out and answering my tourist-related questions. The room was adequately sized and well appointed; not luxury, just new, in good repair and very clean. They use "green" housekeeping practices on request. It had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee service and dishes so I could self-cater. It was absolutely quiet; other guests were not heard at any point during my stay. Even though it was located on the 19th floor, the windows opened (just a couple inches) for a little fresh air. Unfortunately, the view was not inspiring, but the location in mid-town Wellington was within easy walking distance of all the attractions I planned to visit. Being near the shopping district, there is a wide range of restaurants, take-outs and even a grocery store only a short stroll away. Not only would I recommend this hotel to others, but I plan to use them as a base of operations when I return to Wellington for a longer visit.

“Excellent location, harborview room”
Hotel is located on the terrace part of Wellington, with excellent harbor views. Our room was a little small but having a refrigerator, microwave, dishes and cutlery made up for it. Location is perfect--it is in the middle of the main shopping area (go down Plimmer Steps and you are on Lambton Qy) and within blocks of Te Papa Museum, the harbor, the Wellington Cable car, Parliament, just about everywhere you would want to go. I highly recommend this hotel.
“I recommend this hotel of course”
Good location, good service, and comfortable room, all this with a good price. No need to have a car to visit the main Wellington attractions like the cable car, gardens, Te papa museum, Cuba street, parlament, etc. all these is within walking distance fm the hotel. The only thing is as is all NZ the internet service is expensive, but they have a couple of computers down in the lobby with an accesible price. But the overall experience was so good, I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone.
