Great place to stay over night before you're taking off the next day from the airport! Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet! That's all I need before traveling over seas! Staff was also very friendly! Will be back for sure!
I have stayed at many 'airport hotels' and expected little. This was a beautiful hotel, well decorated, modern, with many amenities (apples in the lobby, free coffee in the lobby, water [still and sparling] in the lobby, etc) It had a reasonably well equipped exercise room with equipment that actually worked. It also had a sauna (although I couldn't figure out how to make it work, I suspect the hotel could set it up for you). The restaurant was great for the dinner meal and a large buffet for breakfast. The little town it was in was picturesque with a lovely old church for sightseers. If there was any thing that I would change it would be to add air conditioning, and rethink electricity in the room. There were no outlets in the bathroom, and only 1 on the desk after you plugged in the room fan. In a minor design flaw, the coffee service [hot water and instant coffee is the standard in europe] was on an upper shelf slightly above the desk, but it should have been on the desk surface on the right instead of the lamp that was there. If you put water in the water heating pot, and plug it in, the steam will (and has) loosen the paint above the pot. Quite odd...but otherwise a delightful hotel!
Overall, good. Clean and affordable. Located out of the centre and about 20 mins from the airport. Fixed price for a taxi from the hotel to the airport of 36 Euro. Subway two blocks away to access the centre. Few shops and restaurants nearby. Good hotel for families.
