"We really enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. It was a very peaceful location and nice to be such a short walk to the beautiful coast. My only suggestion would be to not have to drop off garbage at the end of the stay. Thanks."

"The house was in an amazing place on the ocean overlooking about 30 feet of lava into the ocean. The waves crashing put us to sleep in comfortable beds. The neighborhood was nice and restaurants were close. Liv and Bob had neighborhood suggestions for restaurant and activities. We went to their neighborhood black beach and it was awesome. The kitchen had much more than you could ask for. I would love to revisit this place and stay in this house again!"

"The only minor thing is one free breakfast box per room per day no matter how many people are staying in the room. Otherwise the grounds are beautiful and the attached restaurant has great staff with great food. Service is fast & food is delivered fast. The location is great for doing things on that side of the island. I would definitely stay there again. "

"Guy running the place has knowledge that can make your stay bounce from great to greatest. Yes he has some rules but his place for three days cost me less then one night at Prop 19 in Kona and was a lot better stay. But that side of the island is family more original Hawaiian they are Community oriented. You hear Mahalo and they mean it. The people care about you when you seem lost and they walk over and ask what is wrong. At Big Island you can gain an experience that you will not get on the tourist side of the island. So this Is what you do gain there."

"Of all the VRBO houses we have stayed in, this one is probably our favorite! The location was ideal with the constant lulling sound of waves and birds we've never heard. Exploring the area was a lot of fun too. Especially discovering the lava flows from 2018 close by. The house was tastefully decorated with a lot of attention to detail including fresh flowers on the table upon arrival! AND very clean. No sign of any critters or bugs. Owners were very good about communication, and gave awesome detailed directions for everything. If we didn't live so far away we would probably go back ever year and stay at Rainbow Dreams house! Thank you David and Clay for sharing your lovely house to others through VRBO....thoroughly enjoyed every peaceful moment!"

"We really enjoyed the rainforest retreat. We had a lot of rain so didnt get to enjoy the outside as much as we would have liked. House had all of the amenities you would ever need. Only complaint is the center cushion in the couch was broken, but there were 2 other comfortable chairs to sit in."
