We were told our room was cancelled and was offered a room a few blocks away. A good thinking staff was able to find a cancellation and we were very grateful as we could join our friends who had been there four nights before. We saw what we could in the two and a half days in New York.

Pod 39 is a cute and pleasant surprise. The units are new, fresh, modern, and clean. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the spacious bathroom and rain shower head!!! The location is perfect and is steps to major tourist attractions and Grand Central Station. The only thing I would hope they invest in are better towels. The towels were small and thin. I would need 4 of them to dry me off after the shower. But this was a small thing compared to the friendly staff, clean amenities, and modern suites that Pod 39 offers. I would definitely stay here again!!!

As a visiting family from New Zealand the Excelsior more than met our expectations . The hotel exudes old world charm and is full of character. On arrival we were upgraded to a superior room which allowed us to check-in early. The staff were very helpful. The location is great being very close to Central Park and the sights and shopping on Upper West Side and away from the frenetic hustle of Times Square where we had previously stayed. Would highly recommend this hotel to all visitors.

Could not fault this hotel. Very clean. Helpful staff. Tasty bagels, muffins, yoghurt, cereal for breakfast. Unlimited tea and coffee 24 hours/day. Good central mid town position. New York hotels are pricey. This one is top end price for three star, but very good.

I picked Broadway Plaza Hotel for a wkend getaway with my girlfriends to celebrate my special day. It had the availability and the price range I was looking for. All three of us loved the convenient location, the spacious, clean rooms and the courteous staff. It was an excellent choice for what we had in mind. We will definitely be booking this hotel next time we're in NYC and will be happy to recommend it to others.

Hotel guaranteed great views of Central Park and delivered. I spent 6 weeks touring the USA and payed for a view at every hotel I stayed at. The Park Lane Park View Rooms delivered exactly what they promised, a great uninterrupted view of Central Park and were nice large rooms. I felt many other locations did not provide the view they promised or their room descriptions should have read 'partial' or 'obscured' views.
