We stayed at the Taj at the end of our 3 week trip to India and it was the perfect way to finish up. Amazing service and great facilities. While the prices of things are relatively expensive, it's worth it!

After a week in India we were ready for the comfort and tranquility of a nice hotel, our daughter (3 years old) had been quite sick and we had been traveling all day when we finally arrived at the LaLIT. I can't begin to describe the luxury of this hotel and how from the moment we walked through the doors we felt so relaxed and relieved to be out of the hussle and bussle of Delhi and in our own little retreat. The pool is amazing and the staff were lovely. I would highly recommend this to anyone that needs a little bit of luxury in the craziness of India.

Regulary stay at this hotel because of the comfort of rooms and other amenities at hotel.

It is brilliantly located and the underground is next to this hotel -easy to get to by bus from the airport ask for the espanya square. Only costs 2 euros. Breakfast was good and only cost 10 euros, staff were friendly and helpful. We asked for a room with a view and high floor and got it ! Was an excellent stay

The hotel manager & staff took good care. I was travelling with two kids. They took good care of all the requests made - pool at odd hours, food preferences for kid. excellent experience during check out

This was a very clean hotel with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were very polite and made you feel very welcome. The room was clean and spacious. The water pressure was great. There was complimentary water bottles which were replenished along with the toiletries in a timely manner. The staff at reception desk were beyond helpful and friendly when asking for directions or tips on where to go (unfortunately there is not much to do at all in Chennai). Chelappa (sorry if i am misspelling) was especially friendly and helpful. We had a very early flight 4am and requested and early check-in, this was honored when we arrived. The grand lobby is very spacious and clean. We had breakfast buffet everyday which was included in our room rate, they had so many choices and the food was very good. The only problem is that there are no taxi's at all you have to either go by rickshaw or hire a car which can be expensive. There is not much at all around the hotel either. But overall this is a great clean hotel that is spacious and very comfortable.
