Citta Alta Hotels

This is a beautiful, modern hotel in Citta Alta Bergamo. It is impeccably clean with hardwood floors in the bedroom rather than carpeting, which I prefer due to allergies. It has two lovely hotel terraces where you can sit out, have a glass of wine, and relax. The decor is minimalist chic, classy and refined. The buffet breakfast is inviting with lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, freshly baked breads , eggs, cheese and ham. The location is perfect if you would like to see most of Citta Alta. The staff is very professional and helpful. The main attraction here is the opportunity to dine amidst Roman Ruins. Just incredible !

What a wonderful place to stay to take in the beautiful old city. We couldn't have chosen a better hotel, all within a leisurly walk to some of the most amazing historical buildings Bergamo has to offer. Would reccommend this hotel to friends & family without hesitation.

I felt like I was home when stating here. Cristina (the owner) was very helpful before our stay and during out stay. It's a small adorable B&B set above the old city in Citts Alta, in walking distance to the walled in old city. Has very simple private parking, close to the castle view over looking Bergamo and beyond. We had a great breakfast prepared by Cristina. It was a wonderful retreat! I would highly recommend it. Such a great place for the price.

This B & B was perfect for our stay in Bergamo. Centrally located, a wonderful host, terrific breakfast. It is housed in a 16th century house with many period features. The room was large and beautifully furnished. Old world charm with modern plumbing. If we return to Bergamo we will certainly book it again.

Perfect location, great service. Just be prepared to walk some stairs, but once you are in the room - the comfort and the view of the mountains is really rewarding.
