This very modern hotel/bar/pizzeria. Is super clean. The location is amazing. The room is small, but it has everything you need. The mattress is so comfortable! We love the breakfast as well as very helpful stuff.

The first thing is the staff - absolutely amazing, so friendly and obliging. We really enjoyed our stay at this bar with rooms. Great location at the top of the città alta with a bus stop a minute away with a direct route to the railway station and airport. Lovely pastries and cakes at breakfast, too.

Fuori Porta House hotel is in a great location on the edge of the old town of Bergamo, right next to one of the arched stone gateways. It is a smart, modern hotel. Breakfast is served in a lovely, bright room at the back of the hotel, and at the front is a terrace bar that is frequented by guests and locals alike. There is also a pizza restaurant below the hotel, which was recommended as the best in Bergamo by my walking tour guide :-) My room was spacious and luxurious with fantastic air-conditioning (it was very hot during my stay). Everything you could need was provided and the staff were all very friendly and kind. I will stay here every time I visit Bergamo from now on!

We loved the hotel. Great location for the citta Alta which was less than 5 mins walk. The funicular to the castle was next door and we could watch it from the hotel room. Very clean and good sized room with a fantastic shower. Staff were very helpful and arranged a breakfast to be bagged for us on the day we left as our flight was very early. It’s was a very nice touch and made the early flight a little easier. Thanks so much.

From arrival the staff were so kind and helpful, going out of their way to assist us, including organising parking and booking us a table at the great pizza place next door. There were incredible croissants at breakfast and the room was perfect.

Highly recommended small hotel with just 6 rooms but very homely and personable as a result Exceptionally helpful and caring staff. Very cosy and comfortable, well appointed room. Very powerful shower. Great location for upper town. Very generous welcome drink and snacks, also mini bar and more snacks in room. Also a lovely breakfast with the same really friendly staff. Do these people never sleep ? A real homely atmosphere and a great choice for your stay in Bergamo Citta Alta.

From the start of the break we were made most welcome by all the staff. We were greeted by everyone each day from breakfast to evening, Breakfast on the morning was excellent with a varied choice, especially in relation to cereals, cold meats, fruit and cakes etc. The bar area was mainly outside with table service and again varied number of drinks including the local cocktail Hugo. We would definitely return to the hotel in relation to the above and also for the ease of transport.

Staff was truly exceptional. Service for evening happy hour and breakfast was also exceptional. Location was quiet and so convenient to wander this beautiful city. Rooms were small with skylight and vaulted ceiling. Bath lacks privacy. The overall experience of the location and the staff make it an excellent choice. Ask about private transportation if needed as hotel provided at a reasonable fee, thank you Agustina. Ask if you need anything, they were so accomodating.
