The host sent very easy to follow and comprehensive instructions as to how to find and access the property and was on hand for answering any queries. The property was well equipped and super clean. The balcony has the most beautiful view and it's a perfect location for exploring the old town. "Booked overnight stay due to late evening flight into Bergamo. Hotel booked private taxi transfer which was much cheaper, about 10 min drive to Citta Alta. Hotel reception is up a steep set of steps, very friendly staff, lift up to room. Good sized room, good air con. Very low beds but comfortable & very clean. Good bathroom. Very quiet. 1 min walk to large square with lots of bars & restaurants. Super buffet breakfast. Were able to store luggage while we explored Citta Alta which is so beautiful, cobbled streets, gorgeous buildings and shops. Fabulous views over Bergamo, took the funicular further up to castle, and spent hours in restaurant enjoying the views. Definitely recommend and would return again."
