5 stars Hotels in Alicante

Great city break , perfect location for old town with loads of bars and restaurants. Five minute stroll to marina and ten minutes to beach. Hotel with its roof terrace , spa pool and bar is a lovely oasis close to the centre of the old town.

Very good hotel, well signposted and necessary as it is out of the way. Car very necessary. Wouldn't say a full 5 star, but a good 4 star

The resort is beautiful, massive rooms well equipped and a free and well-stocked minibar (although it was not really replenished as promised). The beds are twins which is always a bit annoying if you are travelling in a couple but seems to be a popular option in Europe. The view of the bay from the balcony is stunning and the balcony is very generously sized. The facilities in the Levels Lounge are very good and we enjoyed the complimentary cocktail hour each night, with a nice variety of drinks and snacks. The pools are scrupulously clean, and everything in the resort seems well maintained. The heated pool is a great touch. Overall we really loved the resort and would definitely return. Although it was not peak season and therefore was generally quieter anyway, the adults only aspect is such a plus and I wish that more hotels would do it.

Very nice hotel - bedrooms are well above average hotel standard. Best for a chill-out-get-away-from-everything-break. And a bonus if you like golf! Bar and restaurant very quiet, although we found plenty of places within locality, but if you want to get out and about you will need a car.

Hotel is excellent, friendly staff. Roooms are to a very high standard and reccommend the sea view rooms. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Pools are excellent and everywhere was very clean and well presented.The overall atmosphere was very relaxed, on the downside the drinks are a little expensive with not much change from 40 euros for 4 gin and tonics. Altea has very good restaurants and shops within a short taxi ride.

We have stayed here numerous times and always found it provided the highest standards. I won't hesitate in recommending this hotel

Couple with young son, great hotel. Nice pools, good food, great rooms, friendly staff. Highchairs always spotlessly clean - other hotels take note!
