"Our host Jose was lovely - settled us in, took us shopping, checked in with us and let us know about cultural events in the town. Cold nights but it was ‘winter’. Location great for walkers. Half marathon in town fantastic atmosphere. Christmas and New Year fireworks great. Hope to be back."

"This is our second time staying as a family at Bluesky house in Gran Alicant. The owners of the house are extremely helpful and answered a few questions I had before we arrived. Swimming pool open down the road between May and September and a good size and a lovely beach a 10-15 min walk down a steep hill. You have everything you need in the house and a nice patio to soak up the morning sunshine. Lovely places to explore nearby, we visited a few towns on the buses and used the buses to get back...

"A small hotel, with a lovely team of people taking care of you. The food on the buffet was not very hot, but tasty nonetheless. The pool area was clean and tidy, and the bar and terrace, while a little sparsely furnished, were comfortable. The town was a twenty minute walk away, with a variety of restaurants and bars, but a very pleasant walk back, along the coast."

"Arrived late ,after a difficult find "not quite where the advert implied ,however proved to be ideally placed. Close to bars shops and resturants, might be noisy during high season. Host was helpful and very pleasant. The apartment on first impression was dull, uninviting and basic but once we adjusted to the dark coloured décor it proved acceptable, just!!. however a hair dryer would have been useful a toaster and kettle in the kitchen would be great additions also, an upgrade of the mattress...

"Location is superb - right on the beach yet only 5 minutes from the Castillo in the town centre - close to bars and restaurants and a good starting point for walks along the seafront to east and west. The staff are very helpful and English is spoken."
