"Everything you need in Asakusa area"
This hotel was clean, comfortable and close to Asakusa and the SkyTree, at a great price. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were considered extras that you could buy at the front desk, which I think is a practice that more hotels should adopt to reduce waste and keep prices low!

"Excellent hotel - great value, great location"
Our favourite hotel out of the four we stayed in over our Xmas break. Right next door to JR Bakurocho station exit on one side (with underground links to the Bakuroyokoyama subway station) and a 7-Eleven convenience store on the other. Clean room, well laid out and thoughtfully furnished. Room came with a buffet breakfast with good options including rice rolls, miso soup, minestrone soup, boiled egg, salad, croissants, cereal and milk, sausages, fried potatoes, etc. Free coffee from 3pm.

"Great Staff!"
The hotel is in a very quiet neighbourhood which we liked a lot. Walking distance to the JR line( Tamachi Station) for about 5 mins. Staff are so nice and their English are so well, there is no problem with our communication. The hotel style is a little bit old but it doesn't bother us at all. Room is very clean. The room is in a reasonable size, or I would say it is not small at all. We were worried about the size of the bed before but it is big enough for a couple. Another bonus is that the hotel is very close to the airport, it is about $50 to take the taxi. Everything is there for us. Very very good experience:)

"very central for shops and train"
very central for shops and train. excellent location. Very good Italian buffet lunch at weekend - very good value too. Room small but fine. No instant coffee in any of the Japanese hotels we stayed in, (so not a criticism of this hotel)- so if you want to have coffee in bed take your own. But excellent coffee in all the cafes and breakfast places.

"Nice little hotel in a quiet but convenient area"
Hotel was pretty good. Don't expect a 5 star experience but nothing big to complain about. Room was small but a little bigger than our previous hotel in Osaka. Our semi-double bed was also slightly bigger than our previous hotel's so that's a plus. The hotel room had more of an apartment feel than the usual hotels that we stayed in. Combined with the quaint neighborhood, that is a positive. I just found it odd that there was no airconditioning and that we had to open the window to let the cold in. Of course, that also meant sound coming from the streets coming into the hotel room, but not a big deal as the area is not very high traffic so noise was limited. As for the location, it was pretty good. It was a 3-5 minute walk from the JR or Tokyo Metro station. A couple of stops away from Tokyo station and a stop away from Shinjuku station on a rapid train. There were a couple of coffee shops around the area, a few convenience stores and a 24 hour beef bowl place in case you get hungry late at night. There's also a strip of restaurants in the street behind the hotel which would give guests good dining options as well as a pizzeria on the ground floor which doubles as the breakfast place. I don't think there's very much to do around the area shopping/sightseeing-wise but its a good base to go see the busy city and still come home to a relaxing area every night.

"Lovely little hotel"
This hotel is located in the lively Akasaka district, mostly business centered by day but it takes on a different life at night with many little cafes and bars spilling over with people. It's right in front of the station with very easy access to Tokyo station via one line and a little walk. The rooms are compact as is normal in Japan, but all the facilities are there to make it a comfortable stay. The staff where warm and kind, especially for my late arrival after midnight. I would definitely stay here again.

"the 'b' Akasaka"
This was my second stay at the 'b' Akasaka. I have stayed at the one in Roppongi many times before. I really enjoy staying at these Hotels. they are convenient, and very clean. I also really enjoy the staff, and they are good at remembering who you are, which I find amazing, since there must be thousands of people in and out on a daily basis. I would try any of their Hotels in Japan. I also like the Breakfast options, and the 24 hour coffee station. The access to transportation is also a good reason to choose the 'b" Akasaka. Looking forward to my next stay at The 'b' !
