Rented both 11A & 11B apartments, first and third floor, 11B third floor a bit brighter and sitting room a little bigger but both fantastic. Comfortably sleep four in each, four single beds each apt. Didn't use the kitchen facilities or TV as out all day but the beds comfortable and bathrooms very clean. Lots of toilet rolls, small towel each, little soap and packet of shampoo. Variety of t bags, coffee - complimentary. Holger the owner is lovely and very accommodating - suggested areas to visit and although we didn't have time to make use of the free bicycle hire this time - we will next. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family - so central, 10 minutes walk from the train station. Fab two night stay enjoyed by all 7 ladies in my party

It's located right on the central canals within 5 minutes walking distance of groceries/liquor and shopping. It's 20 minutes or less from the museums, Dam Square, a park and the central bus/train station.
It's clean with a full mini-kitchen a comfortable bed and bathroom with tub and shower.
The owner was very helpful and greeted us with a bottle of wine.
The apartment is about 4 steps down from ground level but still has a view of the street.

Our stay started all wrong. The address we were given was wrong. There we were, in the night, 2 hours standing outside on the street, after a 5 hour journey by train, hungry, temperature bellow zero celsius. Literally freezing, 2 kids, my husband and I. Our cel phone from Germany ran out of credit and we couldn't be reached. We actually didn't know we were supposed to be reached because we thought we were going to a hotel. Someone had even called me in the morning to confirm our check in time. At the address we were given nobody had a clue of where the "Jordaam apartments" were. We had to buy a Dutch chip for our phone and try to contact this third person. We finally managed to get a call from this agency/agent (?) who gave us another address some 5 minute walk from there. If not for a good soul that had been watching us standing on the street in the cold for so long, who provided us with a map and showed us the way, we would probably have given up and gone to "another" hotel. When we got to the address, the owner of the apartment was also surprised we had that other address. He had his contract papers with the right address. The mistake, we presume, was the third party's. Fortunately the apt was very good, cosy and fully equipped + well located. The owner was very caring and seemed truly sorry for the whole mess. We have already sent complaint emails and hope something is done about it so that no one else, especially with children, have to go through it in the future.

The owner goes out of her way to provide everything you could want from a B&B... and more. Kitchen facilities for making breakfast came in useful for other meal times too. There was even a bottle of wine in the fridge, which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated! Lovely canal side location and great base for exploring this beautiful city.

Situated within two minutes of the main museums and tramlines, so excellent for commuting into the very centre. Also, excellent for the bus (197) from Schipol airport. The area is very quiet on a night too.
