"lovely spot"
It's located right on the central canals within 5 minutes walking distance of groceries/liquor and shopping. It's 20 minutes or less from the museums, Dam Square, a park and the central bus/train station. It's clean with a full mini-kitchen a comfortable bed and bathroom with tub and shower. The owner was very helpful and greeted us with a bottle of wine. The apartment is about 4 steps down from ground level but still has a view of the street.

"Great little find in Central Amsterdam"
Rented both 11A & 11B apartments, first and third floor, 11B third floor a bit brighter and sitting room a little bigger but both fantastic. Comfortably sleep four in each, four single beds each apt. Didn't use the kitchen facilities or TV as out all day but the beds comfortable and bathrooms very clean. Lots of toilet rolls, small towel each, little soap and packet of shampoo. Variety of t bags, coffee - complimentary. Holger the owner is lovely and very accommodating - suggested areas to visit and although we didn't have time to make use of the free bicycle hire this time - we will next. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family - so central, 10 minutes walk from the train station. Fab two night stay enjoyed by all 7 ladies in my party

"Beautiful flat in the best location!"
Jackie O's Bed & Breakfast had every amenity you could imagine. It was incredibly clean, comfortable, and located in a very safe , beautiful neighborhood. Jackie was so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this B & B and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are blessed enough to return to Amsterdam.

"Gorgeous apartment in a beautiful canal-side house"
Stayed in Dukes Suite on the top floor, yes the stairs are steep and narrow but that is because it is an original canal-side house. The studio apartment was completely kitted out with everything you would need to be self catering for your holiday with a full size fridge, excellent cooker/microwave/hob, kettle, coffee maker, huge TV with netflix, music system, extremely comfortable beds, very luxurious bathroom with big shower. The place is immaculate and all the laundry is changed regularly. The owner is very welcoming and Maria who works there is really helpful and friendly. You are very near to tram stops and only 5 mins from Albert Cuyp one of the largest street markets in Europe as well as being near plenty of bars and shops. You can walk along the canals into town (stopping to eat and drink on the way). The view from the window over the canal is lovely particularly at night. We had a wonderful stay and loved its location, with the choice to tram (every 10 mins) into town or take a leisurely very scenic walk. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is not a hotel in the true sense of the word but luxury studio apartments in a traditional residential setting.

"Great location, best breakfast"
Hotel Fita is located near the museums and the "iamsterdam" sculpture. Trams 2 and 5 quickly take you into the heart of Amsterdam - Dam Square and the train station. It is also close to Bus 97 which comes from the airport for only 5 euro. This area of Amsterdam is a little less crowded and I liked that. Vouter and Roel were excellent hosts. Roel makes the best pancakes ever for breakfast. The breakfast was the best we encountered in 3 weeks of travel; real scrambled eggs, bacon and those delicious pancakes along with traditional continental fare and strong coffee. Our room was on the ground floor and the window opened onto a square that had people on it most of the night. We didn't leave the window open for that reason, and since it wasn't warm, that was okay. If I were to stay there again, I'd get a room upstairs, so I could open the window at night. The bathroom was large. Everything was clean. Wifi worked well. In the area outside the breakfast room there is an honor bar stocked with beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks - plus a library of travel books that we were welcome to take with us as we toured the city. Very nice touch.

"B & B close the centre"
we cannot rate this high enough, anyone wanting their trip to be unique must book with Wimmo and Godwin and the others. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful! Their warm welcome made us feel immediately at home (and we only stayed 1 night). The room we stayed in was unlike any hotel room I have ever stayed in before. Original thoughtful themed décor, well thought out and with everything you may need. A welcome bottle of wine on the table on arrival. A proper coffee machine with cream available, you can ask for milk if you prefer, a kettle for making instant tea and coffee. Plenty of cream pots, coffee, teas and sugar etc. Mini fridge included - no extra charge. Bed was one of the most comfortable I have experienced, and as someone with various aches and pains no small compliment as I never expect to sleep well when away from home. Not a spec of dust to be found. Radio clock alarm next to the bed that is also a docking place so you can use your own device to play music. A Large flat screened TV wall mounted. the Hair Dryer supplied was a well known make and with diffuser, usually I still take my own as hotel ones are usually rubbish - I never even unpacked mine! plenty of electric sockets. Bedside tables on both sides. A settee with throws/cushions. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a combined toilet/bidet. The bath was large with shower as well.A large bathroom mirror with electric points for shaver/hairdryer. Complementary shower gel and Shampoo.
