Independent, 2 star Hotels in Montreal

Good Price, Excellent location, Excellent Staff... old fashion hotel, but it's near Metro(1 block), near Central Station bus 747 to airport (1 block), near IGA supermarket (1 block), near main tourist attractions. Complement breakfast. Decent room 4 the price. Again, staff is totally good. I recommend this hotel

Very family-friendly place, good breakfast for 10$. Access to a local gym just around corner -fab! Superb location- close to metro ( champ de Mars) 1 stop from metro Berri-Uqam where you can get shuttle bus to airport from bus station. A few stops on metro to train station. Hotel is on edge of lovely old Montreal and though furnishings are a little dated, it kind of fits in with the area and I thought quite quaint. Yes rooms are tiny but I prefer to spend money on other things and just need a nice place to sleep.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Great location, love the plateau montreal area. Room is clean and comfortable. Good price. we lived on fifth floor, and there a elevator in the building which helped us a lot.

Apart from the very small bathroom, everything is good

It was a great stay. The hotel has a nice view of the St Lawrence River from the 3rd floor balcony.

We had a great time at this unassuming hotel in the Francophone heart of Montreal. Small, clean, air-conditioned rooms, a friendly staff (it helps if you speak French or Spanish, as they speak limited English), free breakfast, and comfortable facilities all made for a nice stay. The bathrooms and showers are shared, but clean, with plenty of hot water, and we never had to wait to use one. But it is the location that truly sets this hotel apart. Literally next door to the Mont-Royal subway station, on a bustling corner of Saint-Denis and Mont-Royal streets, the neighborhood is full of interesting cafes, restaurants, bookstores, boutiques, chocolatiers, and much more. The amazing access to everything made this our favorite part of Montreal. We would definitely recommend staying here.
