We had an awesome view but was disappointed that there were no dressers to put our clothing in. The staff was great especially our housekeeper. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. There was a perfect niche in the room for the coffee pot but it was just an empty space. It would be a great place to have a countertop for the coffee. There was electricity as well as an overhead light to see. We used our tray in the room and set our coffee pot on it and it worked wonderfully.

My recent stay at Kaimana Beach Resort was overall enjoyable, with the hotel offering a beautiful beachfront location that truly made the vacation feel luxurious. The property itself is very nice, and having a restaurant on-site with direct beach access added a lot of convenience and charm to the experience. I would rate the hotel a 3 out of 5, mainly due to service issues that did not meet the expectations of a 4-star hotel. Mark, who checked us in, was very professional and welcoming, but unfortunately the morning and evening staff were disappointing. On several occasions, I had to wait 10–15 minutes just to ask for beach towels. One night, the fire alarm rang in the middle of the night and no staff came to check on the situation. Additionally, I waited about 30 minutes on the phone just to inform the hotel that our Uber Eats driver was three minutes away and to ask if they could hold our food—by the time someone answered, the wait was already excessive. Overall, the hotel itself was fantastic, but the level of service needs significant improvement to match the quality of the property.

This hotel's location is beautiful but the physical infrastructure is old and needing to be updated. The rooms are nicely appointed but the exit stairways are corroded and many of the doors do not shut do to corrosion.

The room wasn’t great. We had to pull the bed out to get at plug ins. There was only one luggage rack and no room for two suitcases (and we only had carryons) in the bedroom. It was good there was a dresser, I unpacked into that. Many large gaps in the flooring. The kitchen was very minimally stocked, not even a plug for the sink to properly wash dishes or a washcloth to wipe up. One of the outside bar stools was so rickety as to be unusable and a shelf in the bathroom was coming out of the wall. Plus there are gaps behind the shelves so stuff can fall through. Hot water for the shower was basically non existent. We had it cranked to full hot every time and never had to turn it down. A couple of times it was lukewarm at best. Can only assume there’s a regulator of some kind because the taps for the sinks had hotter water. Lighting at night is lacking as well as room direction signage. Knowing where to find our room in the dark the first night was a challenge. All that said, the lobby area was great, banana bread, coffee, fruit and water dispenser wonderful. Having use of kayaks, the floating dock area and hot tub (a little small) were also great features and the views absolutely gorgeous. Staff were friendly and helpful, cleanliness and parking not an issue for us. Would we come back? Hmm, not sure.
