"The location is the best thing about this unit. It is very dated. The first thing you notice upon entering is the buckled wood flooring. The second is the very large portable air conditioning unit in the living room. I would not use the words serene and refuge to describe the property. The flooring has issues throughout. "Location is amazing, minutes from everything on the North Shore - beaches, PCC, Laie LDS temple, hikes, and so much more. Checkin and checkout process were simplest we have experienced. Have cold plunge and sauna but no pool. Plunge and sauna were nice. Beds were nice. Big space for family and hanging out. Stocked kitchen and dishwasher made family meals fun. Host was super responsive and helpful. Would love staying there again!"

"I would definitely recommend this property. Everything was clean, there was beach supplies, and communication was great when needing to adjust check-in and check out times. It was easy to find and easy to access. The AC worked great, which was a big thing for us. She even hod a box of chocolate and a bottle water waiting for us, it was such a nice touch. We will stay here again."

"Despite Hurricane Lala’s attempts to keep us from this magical and lovely Sacred Valley location (power was out for a few days but returned the morning of our arrival— we needed a working fridge for medication storage) we enjoyed two blissful days in this rustic locale. Katlyn worked hard to communicate about the power issues and was gracious about a possible refund if we needed to find somewhere else on the North Shore. Luckily, it all worked out. Headlines: shower is amazing. Tankless water heater means that two weary hikers/swimmers/explorers can experience a lovely hot shower at the end of the day. Bed is queen sized and in the loft, up five stairs. This is a screened in cabin and so there’s no a/c (obv) but a fan kept us totally cool at night after the sun sets behind the mountain ridge that is just behind the cabin. It is surrounded by sugar cane and with other tiny homes on the property (check out the Rasta Bus) and down the same road is an (off limits, but viewable) Buddhist Temple. Very peaceful and quiet. Small details make this place shine: nice plates and a good toaster oven and hot plate to cook meals. Fridge is dorm-sized, but plenty big enough to stow a few days supplies. Compostable toilet is easy to use. We listened to the birds calling in the morning and a ten minute walk down to the beach every morning means you get to watch the sunrise over the water and then watch the sun set over the ridge from bed."
