They were undergoing a mass reconstruction and still charged an amenities fee although the pool and exercise room were not available. There were no lounges on the beach. There was loud construction noise and dust throughout the hotel. VERY disappointed.

The resort is well situated in the heart of Waikiki: close to the beach, to the International Marketplace and eateries.
Very comfortable bed and bedding; staff is accomodating.
Shower was only lukewarm in the evening (on the 15th floor) and ran out of conditioner but otherwise well serviced and laid out.
Liked that they are trying to do recycling.
Watercooler for guests would have been nice in the lobby given the warm temps.
Was given a voucher for $50 for two eateries nearby which we used (thank you!).
