"No pool no hot water."

"This property is huge, I believe there are 7 towers total. Checking-in was a hassle. They require you to park first and bring all your luggage to the check in, which was not easy travelling alone with a toddler who was asleep and we didn't get in until the evening. At check-in the person at the counter immediately tried to upsell me to a more expensive room at $80/night. Then told me self parking was $69/night unless I wanted to valet for $80/night. I asked what my other options were and they said "street parking but it's hard to find" thankfully another guest told me about a public paid lot on the other side of the lagoon which was only $1/hour. It was a little bit of a hike but helped saved a lot of money. The package that I purchased included a credit on $65/a day to use a multiple markets and restaurants. Which only covers about two meals a day, but it was helpful. A lot of the hotel staff at the front desk, mail/key, concierge, etc., were not friendly. Anytime I asked a question, it felt like I was inconveniencing them. The housekeeping team was great and very helpful. The power went out in my tower for 4 hours our last night there which was not fun at all. Overall it was a great location with lots to do but it was very crowded and very expensive. If your traveling with kids I recommend going to a grocery story and packing food. PBJs at the market are $10 a pop. The Bali Oceanfront provides free meals for kids with adults, the others charge at least $12-$16."

"We liked the location of the hotel, not quite as busy as Waikiki, and close to Ala Moana(Mall and Beach). The staff was friendly and helpful, she was able to move us to a higher floor. Room was large, spacious and bathroom was as well. We ate at the pop up restaurant(House of Sakura) and that was excellent. We also ate breakfast and dinner a few times at 100 Sails, loved the staff there. Honolulu Coffee Company was also a great place to get a quick coffee and breakfast. We used the pool a few times and that was really nice. Overall a great stay and would definitely return."

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location on the corner of Lewers and Kuhio. Room was clean, maid service every other day. WiFi spotty but fairly good. I would recommend this hotel."

"I experience an issue at the hotel upon the check in process, the hotel did a switch and bait when it came to the room I purchase in my package deal with Expedia, I had to involved the executive management team for an explanation after a long ordeal and calling out the hotel practices on a switch and bait practices per what was on there website and Expedia website my room was finally changed to the correct Oceanview room instead of trying to provide me with a partial ocean view room The front desk manager address my concerns and ensure everything was taken care of and we were ok with the accommodation, being a previous resident of Hawaii and knowing this property like the back of my hand and previous stayed at this resort for over the last 20 years they should have known better for this type of practice when you book your vacation through a third party company like Expedia instead of booking through the hotel directly, I made it very cleat to the hotel that they need to ensure all guests be provided the correct room view that was paid for, I appreciated the hotel correcting their internal processes to ensure this does not happen in the future when I plan to return for my next visit with in the next 6 months."

"When visiting Oahu, we stay at Hyatt Place Waikiki and it never disappoints! Staff is friendly, wonderful, and helpful, and the hotel is always clean and welcoming. Breakfast has changed over the years, some prepackaged sandwiches vs all fresh food. Still good and still worth the stay! Will definitely continue to stay at Hyatt Place Waikiki when on Oahu and highly recommend."

"This is a great Waikiki Beach location. Just one block off the beach, and close to public transportation, shops, restaurants, and other amenities. Can't say enough about the staff. Everyone from Front Desk, Breakfast Wait Staff, Housekeeping and Bell Service was fantastic. Definitely a "will come back" on our Oahu list!"
