No room service, staff was unfriendly, I ordered fish tacos they gave me beef tacos , I had an allergy reaction I was confined to my room and entire night the hotel manager would not comp me the food even after an incident was reported. Awful experience

We had a wonderful stay at OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort! Everything was clean and well cared for, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The poolside drinks were great, and Monkeypod Kitchen’s lively, energetic atmosphere added to the fun. A great place to relax and enjoy Waikiki—we’d happily stay here again!

Great stay

Not worth the money. Room rate over 1000 dollars per day and they still charge you for breakfast, And the ritz provides a pick up for you from the airport. Small things add up to big things

The Royal Hawaiian is a classically beautiful hundred year old hotel with Gorgeous grounds and a respite from the main drag of Waikiki, which is only steps away. You feel as if you’re in a different world. We didn’t love the room. We got an Ocean view room with a King bed, which was the last such available. While it was as advertised, we didn’t love the room. Furnishings were minimal; there was only one chair. It had a handicapped shower, which was functional but not desirable if you don’t need it. It did have an ocean view, but it wasn’t the best. The carpeting in the hallway was dirty in spots and either needed a good clean or replacement. For a five star hotel that was priced like one, these are legitimate gripes. Still overall it was a lovely experience and the atmosphere is unparalleled anywhere else in Waikīkī.
