The hotel was perfectly situated opposite Waikiki beach and the rental of beach items well received as we spent most of our time there. The hotel is beautifully maintained and the staff are typically Hawai’i n in their laid back, kind and helpful approach. The aquarium and its upkeep in the lobby was an added bonus and the bar area a nice place to have a drink. Our room was large for myself and my two children aged 19/20. And I loved our balcony overlooking both the city, the beach and the beautiful misty mountains. If I had one issue it was the bar charges, inconsistent and one time charged $11 for one beer and then charged $38 for two beers. I always had the same drink but didn’t pick this up on my bank statements until I got home. So check what you are being charged. I loved the location, nearer the zoo end, as a bit quieter but with a 3-4 min walk you are into the main stretch. I would recommend the hotel to families and single travellers as there is enough going on at the hotel but it doesn’t feel like an 18-30 type place. I would sum it up as a modern, sophisticated beach side hotel with a lot going on if you choose. I wish we had more time there. The Hawaiian people are wonderful. I hope we’ll be back one day.

The property was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Every single staff member was genuinely kind and helpful. We will absolutely be returning. The food was delicious.. the rooms were gorgeous.. and the accessibility to the private beach was perfection.

Great place on north shore. A little far if you are looking for activities. Great if you are looking for peaceful beautiful place to stay.
