Beautiful views
Beautiful views of either the coast or the bush from upstairs. Bach is clean and has everything we needed. Warren was very understanding and helpful when we locked ourselves out. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great House In A Great Town
We loved both the house and Whitianga. The view is great from this quiet home on a dead end street. House is well stocked, spacious, and clean. The host was most helpful and we left already wanting to return.

beautfull location we all had a ball realy enjoyed the event we partisapated in and the local culture ONLY NIT PICKING EITHER WE COULDNT FIND ONE OR THERE SHOULD BE AN OUTSIDE LIGHT TO GO UP & DOWN THE STAIRS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE PLACE & WILL COME AGAIN & RECOMEND TO OTHERS

Getaway
Two families with young children, setup is perfect for two families to still have their own space, however need to be vigilant with the stairs at the front which don’t have sides. Bottom living area hob was not functioning so might need looking at. Not the best driveway if looking to bring a boat/trailer as it is too steep. View is amazing & local native birds including wood pigeons in the trees are a treat.

Beautiful and very quiet place
It’s perfect for 12 persons, but we are Family of 13 including young kids, we all enjoyed our time there. Lovely view and cozy place. Perfect house for us. Thank you 😊

Incredible!
The photos don't do the place justice! We had a group of 10 ages ranging from 6-50. The views are incredible, the rooms are spacious and all the facilities work well! Warren communicates very simply which I love, just in and out no surprises or interruptions. One thing I’m wary about are the quality of furniture/ Utilities but their bunk beds, chairs, kitchen equipment were all of good quality. Nothing fragile that may come up later. The house is very spacious and you get a lot of privacy from neighbours etc! Feels like your very own cabin. However, the only caution is that the drive way is very steep and not very suitable for long vans as they may scrape the concrete. Definitely would recommend :-)

Great place for a few couples
Lovely house and extremely well equiped. We loved the coffee machine. Driveway was very step and as house was tucked into the hillside was not as sunny as I had thought. Well located and views to die for. Would recommend.

The best getaway!

Lovely Stay
We stayed for 5 nights at the first part of our 2nd New Zealand trip. It is a very comfortable house, well equipped, with lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful view. Whitianga is a charming town with excellent restaurants and the Coromandel Peninsula has stunning scenery. Warren was 5 star with communication, thank you Warren!

We had a wonderful time, stunning views, easy and close walk to the beach and short drive to town centre. The only problem was that the gas stove downstairs didn't work.

Wicked Weekend in one of best places ive stayed!
Upon arrival we knew we were in for a treat, unreal views in an unreal location, House was immaculate and perfect for our group of 12 Adults About a 5min drive to whitianga and a 5min walk to the beach so perfect location! Will recommend this place to anyone that will listen!

Girly's Weekend.
Nine Wāhine flew up from the South-Island for a Girlies Weekend; The House was terrific to say the least it has a good wairua with a comfortable warm mood. We found it clean, spacious, the equipment was generous from the washer / dryer, in & outdoor furnishings, games to kitchen utensils. The view from the wrap-around deck and bay windows were off the hook looking over Whitianga Beach on those chill afternoons or early morning breakfasts. Downstairs was inviting & cosy for those rest moments or quiet coffee gossips. We loved it and would definitely book again. The price including fees etc really worked for US. Mauri Ora Warren!

Great location for a family catch up
The home had a great layout and space for everyone to join in or take time out on their own. The home had amazing views and was well equipped We had a relaxed winter getaway with our adult kids and their friends. Good location with a small reserve and beach about 100m away.

Great for family group
Great view, great location with easy walk to beach and lovely path along waterfront into town for longer walk. The house is spacious for larger groups and very clean and tidy, and well provisioned to cook your own meals. Our experience was winter with some rainy days and some sunny. The fireplace soon had the place cosy. And plenty of space for some good board game challenges.

A relaxing and peaceful break
We had a very relaxed stay at this place! The views were spectacular! Close proximity to the beach was an added convenience. Property is very well maintained and excellent for big groups, a large family or more than one family! The host was flexible with our check out, which helped us have a more leisurely morning. Definitely look forward to going back over the summer months! Just one thing though! The drive way was a bit slippery due to the rain and needed cleaning.

What a find, this place is a real gem. Being a large group of 11 and a mixture of adult & teens, plenty of space, everything you would need is available. Great location to the beach, close to town and a stunning view. Wood fire to keep us warm for the cooler nights, variety of board games & books to read. Fantastic host. We loved our stay & didn’t want to leave ❤️

Great location, great house
House situated in a very quiet area with an amazing view of the water. Very clean and spacious. The fireplace provided a nice evening atmosphere. Plenty of beds and seating. Large kitchen with the usual amenities provided. If we were to come back to Whitianga we'd book this place again!

Last family holiday
We trawled through the book a Bach website, not knowing which would be a nice spot, we eventually chose this one and we weren’t disappointed. It was a lovely roomy place, with all the amenities we needed. But the view, WOW THE VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR. Even tho the weather didn’t play it’s part, we still had the best time, and a happy family memory was made

Great location, good sized rooms and fantastic view of the bay. Well equipped - even had ice cubes in the freezer. A short walk to the beach - the drive way is steep but fine for kids and able bodied people to walk down. Highly recommend - a lovely base for a Coromandel holiday.

Amazing view!
This property has the most awesome view, the area is lovely and quiet and the house has everything you need to cook your own meals and sit out on the big deck/table and look out over the bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn't really want to leave.

Brilliant Location
If you want privacy this place offers oodles of this. Great outlook, nice and close to the foreshore walk way. Beautiful bush surrounding the property. Heaps of room for 2 families to be together. Warren the host was easy to communicate with especially in uncertain times with covid and been able to travel. My only negative, is the steep driveway.

Two Family holiday
We were 8 people - two families with 4 children aged 2-6yo and we had such a great time at this house. The house was well set up for us, having two living spaces was fantastic at nap time. The local river has a toy library of buckets, spades and diggers which was a wonderful resource for travelling families. Kitchen worked well for all of us and there was good indoor and outdoor seating. Our car which is low profile struggled to get up the steep driveway but it was a safe road so not a problem - this would only be a nit pick. Great value for money! We will be back with extended family when COVID allows.

Amazing View
We really enjoyed our stay here. The view is absolutely breathtaking and the house was perfect for our large group as the living upstairs has so much room. Clean and tidy and very homely. Warren was very quick to respond to my queries which was helpful. Only thing to be weary of is the very steep driveway. But there’s plenty of space at the top to turn around! Would definitely stay here again.
