"A beautiful peaceful setting in the countryside close to all the travel and experiences along the Able Tasman area. We had four full on busy days there and it was great to be able to return in the early evening to relax and have full cooking facilities to enjoy our catch from the Anatoki Salmon Farm. "As cyclists on the great taste trail, this property had everything we could possibly want. The location is very peaceful and is near river access. The house has been tastefully redecorated while keeping a 'bowling' theme. I wish we could have stayed more than one night. Excellent."

"We had spent almost a week up in Abel Tasman Park at Awaroa so had been busy hiking, swimming and watching the tides. After all the running about, boat trip up and back this was a super relaxing stop for a couple of days. The view out over the river to the sea and distant mountains is fantastic and we woke up to a brilliant red sunrise. We did laundry and fed some of my breakfast croissant crumbs to the chickens. Its was great."

"The cottage was perfect for our two night stay in Westport. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Just a short drive to town it was in a quiet rural location. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the region and happuly recommend it to anyone wanting well presented accommodation in a great location."

"Exactly as advertised. The stairs were a great challenge for the hip replacement, I came away with a good functioning hip. Learnt to ride my bike again. Enjoyed the bike trail plus the wee restaurant on the corner. The low ceiling caused the 6 footer a few adverse reactions but he got used to it, All in all a great holiday."
