"Lovely boutique feeling hotel with great rooms, superbly comfortable beds and bedding, friendly helpful staff and lovely breakfast. Only complaint it that rooms above the bar/restaurant patio suffer from very loud noise from below despite the double glazing. I was promised by the manager it would subside after 11pm but it went on until around 12.30am."

"Hotel was in a good location. Centralized in downtown DC right by the Washington Nationals baseball park. If you’re having your own transportation, that will be a bit of a pain as there is no immediate parking available and valet was $65 per night plus tax. So, use ride sharing or public transport is recommended. The facilities were clean and updated. The gym was adequate but there was no pool or sauna or anything of the sort. "

I picked two twin beds for the cheaper price and didn't realize/notice that they would be bunk beds. "Great location and customer service. Great water pressure in shower. Fun vibe at hotel. Unique perks such as books and records in the room. Never received the promised free breakfast vouchers. Market place for breakfast was closed all three days for breakfast. Looked forward to happy hour at the rooftop bar but that was closed for private event all three nights. Air in room would not go below 68 degrees and was a bit warm in the room. "

"This was my first visit to DC to celebrate my birthday and Mother’s Day, the people at The Capital Hilton made it wonderful. Roberto checked me in and set the tone. He was friendly, had great smiles and accommodating. Frank made sure I had what I needed and was very nice. He had smiles and kind words for me. Frank helped me find places to eat and when my friend lost her phone in a cab, he worked to help us find the cab even though she didn’t lose it at the hotel. I am from Georgia and felt safe and at home. The young lady working with frank at the desk on Saturday was helpful and working to help. (I am sorry to not get her name) Mohammed and Kamal made my transportation requests not a problem. I easily was given directions by Mohammed and he made sure I was safe in my travels. As stated earlier, I felt safe and at home. My room was fabulous. It was clean, spacious and beautiful. The view was excellent. I will return here to stay. Thank you all for helping make my stay memorable. "
