Everything in the room is very old. Bathroom has weird bath tub. Bath tub’s surface looks like balance ball. It is moving. First time I saw such a thing. I felt I am going to fall couple times.

Classic and sophisticated hotel in an excellent location. The bar was also a highlight. Blown away with how affordable it was. Excellent location too, just a few blocks from the White House and the National Mall.

I would have preferred the hotel to have a bigger lobby area and would have preferred it to have been more updated. It is a lovely hotel, but the design is very antique.

The hotel was lovely, historic and with old world charm. The staff were wonderful and helpful especially Wilfredo, the front door man and reception desk staff. Great location, close to where we wanted to go. Nice restaurants nearby. Restaurant has good food as well. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel.

The hotel had unbelievable old world charm from the physical architecture of the building to the furnishing in the rooms, and especially to the attentiveness of the staff. The porter was wonderful and helping with luggage, reception was efficient, café for breakfast was convenient and good. Location is walking distance to a lot of things and very close to two different metro stops.
