"This was the perfect two night stay for me while visiting family nearby. The king bed room was spacious, clean and everything in good working order. The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in and any staff on the grounds over my stay were always friendly. I appreciated the off-season rate considering the town of Ellicottville has higher rate hotels and peak times during ski season. The breakfast included is very basic, but there are other options around, including walking to a café or Tops market. No complaints."
"Rooms were clean and comfortable. Grounds are well-kept. Staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast had a great variety and was regularly stocked. Pool area was enjoyable for relaxing after dinner. A dinner recommendation from front desk staff was delightful (Pour Taphouse). We travel from MD to Buffalo a few times a year and we will definitely be back!"
"The location and designated parking at this property are second to none! The amenities are suitable for two couples or for a family with a few kids. It is a very short walking distance to literally everything in town. Check in and check out were super easy. Communication with the property owner through VRBO app was also simple. Could there be a few things updated? Yes. Were any of them deal breakers? Not in the least. And...the price was right. We will stay at the Straus Haus again for sure!"
