"Under new management with a lot to get around. Staff and manager very pleasant and welcoming to a very old, rather tired coaching inn.
Good breakfast and evening meal. "
"A very popular pub with excellent accommodation
The whole outdoors dining / seating area is beautifully kept with lots of plants / flowers making the area more attractive
The breakfast menu is immense, The American breakfast beat me and that’s saying something, well cooked, plenty on the late and well presented 👏"
"Lovely place to stop in a small village. Staff very friendly and helpful. Mostly locals patronise the hotel and happy to chat with tourists. Food is great "
"A great welcome, very friendly, lovely, comfy, spacious room. Mouth watering meals and great choice of drinks. Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Still we had a wonderful stay."

10/10 Excellent
"Great location for us visiting family - setting is excellent and outside area with water, lots of baskets of flowers is very enticing. Decor in the Inn and the rooms is exceptional. This might be picky but a soap dispenser over the hand basin would be useful. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made the stay memorable. "
"Spacious, light and airy room which was perfect for sorting our kit and last minute prep before beginning our coastal path hike the next day. The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. "
"For the price this place is excellent. You are paying the price of a hostel but you have your own room, a decent bathroom and tea making facilities. The hotel has seen better days, and if you want something swanky pay another £100 per night.
Staff were helpful, room was clean, and location is spot on. "
"Loved it. I was seeing a band in Cardiff and picked this hotel as it was close to the train station.
Couldn’t have been happier with the service and the hotel.
Not going to claim it’s 5 stars but it met all my needs and the late night bar was perfect for a refreshing drink after getting back from the gig. "
"The Hotel is set in such a peaceful position overlooking the harbour. You must try the Pizza from their own wood burning pizza oven, sit with a pint and a pizza enjoying the tranquil view.
The staff are brilliant and the service superb. "
"Very peaceful and enjoyable stay.for one night stopover whilst walking the SW Coast Path. Quick, easy, friendly check-in. Nice, quiet, refurbished room with excellent shower and comfy bed. Plug in bathroom sink didn't work properly. Excellent, freshly cooked breakfast and nice evening dinner at a reasonable price. "
