"The hotel was in an excellent location - a very pretty village, with a chateau and walks along the riverbank. Easy driving distance to Money’s garden in Giverny, other chateaux and beautiful countryside. It has a good bar and restaurant, with staff who are very friendly and helpful. The main building itself was very good, but the annexe along the road was fairly ‘tired’ looking, and lacked attention to detail. Several small faults including missing light bulbs, toilets broken, beds not made...

"We have stayed in many chateau’s over the years in France but this was the worst. The room was dreadful, no room in the bathroom carpet disgusting light outside the window all night so unable to sleep. No lounge area or chairs to sit and drink with friends. No atmosphere in restaurant and food very expensive and it was clear we weren’t wanted!! The staff on reception very cheerful and helpful. Overall a terrible expensive experience "
