Very clean rooms. Staff was all beyond amazing, friendly and attentive! The only complaint I have is that we didn’t get a balcony in our room as advertised (our friends who booked at the same time as us got the balcony) and also it got a little bit warm in the room and they didn’t seem to have an AC in our room but cracking a window helped. Not sure how it would be in summer.

Great room size with kitchenette. Nice window view of the area. We got the end room of hallway so we get a nice view from the bathroom window and the balcony view. Quiet place, walkable distance to the waterfront, Parliament Buildings and restaurants.

We come to Victoria a few times each year and always stay at this hotel. Our VIP gives us free parking and coffee, and this time they upgraded our room. Much appreciated.

The room was great for our stay. There are areas of the room that have room for improvement such as wear and tear around crevices in the kitchenette and shower areas. Overall though, would stay again during our next visit to Victoria.

Great location and the hotel itself is beautiful! 5 minute walk to the Parliament buildings. We were on the seventh floor and even had a peekaboo view of the harbour. Will definitely stay here again!

The staff was always very friendly, helpful and informative. They were more than happy to give us suggestions regarding places to eat, shop, and activities in the area that were must sees. They allowed us to store our bags while we waited to check in so that we could go explore without the hassle. They also allowed me to store my bags after checking out until it was time to head to the airport. This was a small part of the amazing service we received during our stay.

The hotel was quiet and clean. The staff was kind and helpful. It’s a short distance from the ferry and walking distance from most everything you want to do in Victoria. Great place to stay!

It's a wonderful and convenient location. We were lucky enough to get a room with a view of the inner harbour and the Parliament Buildings. Highly recommended the Oswego! I'm positive we will be coming back.

Great hotel in a fabulous area close to everything but also in a quiet neighbourhood. Very friendly staff and very clean and modern styled property . Loved the toiletries the offered and great coffee and tea in the unit. I had a VIP offer with Expedia that included free parking and 2 free beverages which was coffee or tea from the lounge. I had requested an upper floor and unfortunately was given the lowest floor available which, was disappointing! The room didn’t have the advertised view that the website shows. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and noisy with every movement and should not be advertised as an additional bed! The bedroom bed seemed more like a double than a queen which is interesting because there is space for a larger bed. Considering the hotel is advertised as a sustainable hotel I’m surprised dishes must go in the dishwasher regardless of the amount or there is a $150 room charge? we had maybe 5 items to run a whole dishwasher and that is not environmentally friendly. The linens were very nice and we enjoyed the room . I give it a 4 out of 5 because none of my requests were made and seemed like the opposite were given and the sofa bed was awful to sleep on. We got an early check in which was fabulous and could keep our car there longer after check out to tour the city more! It is a lovely Hotel that we would stay in again.

At this time, we have many guests staying for month-long durations and renovations are also taking place, which can create challenges when trying to allocate to specific requests. The note about the dishes is necessary to support our cleaning staff, especially with many of our guests staying for long periods we have found this a requirement to maintain our high cleanliness standards. We offset this with our Green Initiative which allows guests to decline cleaning services, one of many facets of our initiative. I regret that you found the sofa bed to be uncomfortable and will investigate if it requires replacement. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you encountered during your visit. We value your perspective, and your feedback will be considered as we work to provide better experiences for all our guests.
