My stay at the Bedford Regency was good in that it was very centrally located and convenient to most in-town things. The parking experience however was very frustrating as that the dedicated garage was about two blocks away and had limited access during weekends and evenings. If you need access to your car, I would not recommend this hotel. If you intend on walking (for which this is very centrally located), I would recommend this hotel.

The front desk staff could use a bit more friendliness. They helped when it was requested and did their due diligence but were a bit stiff and unsmiling. The cleaning staff however is outstanding and worked hard and were so professional, doing impeccable work. The front desk staff could learn a thing or two from them. The room was super clean with good coffee. This historic building was nice and well located although the city facing room does get a fair bit of noise from outside bars and multiple songs and music intermixing. I should’ve taken the inside courtyard facing room windows. That however is due to the central location (also really nicely located and walkable to anywhere). It’s downtown so noise is to be expected. The hotel is good for what it is as long as you book in advance and don’t overpay for the room. I would recommend, you get what you pay for: good for what it is.

Place is dated but clean and location was wonderful. We opted to park at a lot elsewhere as it was difficult to access our car at certain early hours of the day at their suggested location

Great location in the heart of the capital city. The room has more of a "preserved" than "old" vibe. Good value for the price.

the parking for weekends seems to be a lot of customer running around, if there were multiple swipe keys for the parking lot access when you are checking out , instead of having to return to the hotel to drop it off, you could simply put the swipe key in a drop box, and carry on, just a suggestion, but you definitely need a better system

Was not what was expected based on photos and description. Paid for suite room with jetted tub, fireplace and mini-kitchen. Thought historic hotel would be more fun for anniversary than the of the mill Marriott or Hilton. 1. Fireplace didn’t work and not allowed to use. 2. Phone didn’t work 3. Needed space heater as room heating not adjustable 4. Jetted tub had cracked enamel and caulking falling apart 5.kitchen has stove, fridge and coffee machine… but no pots/pans, dishes or silverware at all! Fridge had rusted shelves. 6. Light for toliet room didn’t work. They said it has been broken for a while and can’t figure it out. Had to use a flashlight to use toliet otherwise completely dark. 7. TV didn’t allow streaming or casting. Hotel was convenient location for sure, just not nice enough for the cost when compared to other mainstream hotels in the area.

Hotel is located at a central location in downtown. However, the room quality was of 2 star and low. The room was not as advertised, too small, no dresser, TV did not work, HVAC was not working properly and too loud. And most of all the staff definitely needs training for hospitality.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The location was great, right downtown. the bedroom was spotless. The room was large. The reason why I gave 4 stars not 5 was we called 3 times prior to getting there and no one answered and the doors would not close for our bathroom, which was not good.
