"Stairs in our room up to be a little scary at night. Beware the breakfast. We changed reservations for the last day, and learned that breakfast was NOT included. Was 29 euros...very steep. Beware: This wasnt clear! Shuttle to airport convenient but expensive. Alilaguna about a 12 minute walk and less than half the cost."

"We had a great stay at hu Venezia. The resort is clean, quiet, pet and family friendly. Having the restaurant/cafe on site made it easy to eat before exploring Venice or after getting back. They offer a shuttle service that takes you to and frpm Venice for a fee. This was VERY convenient, just look on their website or ask the front desk for help."

"The Hotel feels like part of history, it is so iconic - so many famous people (good & bad) have stayed there. The arrival at the Hotel as you approach on a motor launch is unique. Every member of staff are courteous and friendly - more than happy to help. Food & drinks are pricey but the Breakfast on the terrace in the morning - what a treat looking over the ocean across the beach. Room was great and we had a welcome bottle of wine on arrival. After a busy day shoulder-to-shoulder with the crowds in Venice, it is so lovely to escape from Saint Mark's square on their private shuttle for the 15 minute ride to the Lido and sanctuary. Couldn't recommend the Hotel highly enough. Truly legendary."
