Greeted my daughters and explained everything clearly, they said Mel was simply lovely! A great clean room with a short walk to Anfield Stadium."

"The ladies on reception were lovely, very friendly and informative. The room was very spacious and clean. The lady on the bar was great too, smiley and chatty even late on when the bar filled up after the Becky Hill show at Haydock racecourse!"

The hotel has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna which we were able to use for a small extra. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. It is a dated hotel though, so the bathroom wasn't great (our shower had poor pressure as the taps kept running even with the shower on) and the rooms could have been a bit cleaner. Breakfast is only til 9 too so a bit rushed in the morning."
