Great location, pleasant grounds, everywhere was immaculate, pleasant and efficient staff, all in all a very good experience, well recommended, we will be staying again
Amazing hotel food in the restaurant was beautiful and lovely experience and nice to see the hotel in such great shape.
The spa facilities were great and easy to access and very clean.
I would like to especially mention the bar and restaurant staff who worked in the evening who were so so plesent and welcoming making everyone in the resturant enjoy there time. Once again such a great experience.
A recently refurbished hotel. Room was lovely and clean, just one small point - only one pillow which was hard.
Restaurant and reception staff were excellent. Certainly one to return to.
The only problem we had with the hotel was the hot stuffy room/
We realise that the budget price provided a budget room without AIR CON.
However we have stayed in very good 3 star hotels without this and they provide a portable fan.
Would stay here again because the pool facility is wonderful. The food was good too.
Just put a fan in the room without Air Con PLEASE
Hotel is lovely, very clean and fresh looking, looks like new. Even the cheapest rooms big and very nice.
Quiet, can’t hear traffic or people banging doors in corridor.
Only issue is you can’t get lunch in bar/restaurant not open til 3pm, the lovely coffee shop in atrium is open and has sandwiches etc but I’m gluten free so wasn’t much choice.
Would def recommend

Staff - rude an disinterested but what a facilities - young girl in restaurant working alone was so good and incredible to my family
She should be the explain set to all staff members
The hotel is undergoing a total refurb after being used to house migrants for the last few years building work was still under way whilst the stayed at the hotel .
The hotel is being refurbished to a standard and is clean and tidy , food and overall service levels in the bar area need attention .
Perfect place for a 1 night business trip with a good gym and pool

Plenty of spaces in the car park and the hotel and grounds look great, although the lifts are rather battered and probably near the end of their service life. The bathroom extractor wasn't working, so when we first arrived the bathroom smelt quite stale. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and quiet. A decent TV, kettle and tea/coffee sachets are provided, but these amenities could be improved (e.g. decaf as well as regular coffee sachets, maybe a biscuit or two). Overall, the hotel has a business-orientated feel; great for meetings etc. but a little short on home comforts.
Hotel currently going through refurbishment in different areas. Got an excellent deal with B&B so needed hotel for Sat night in area so grabbed. Stated a Club room which was small but cozy. New refurbed but can see has been done cheaply. Existing damaged ensuite door, old bath with new panels just fitted.. if your gonna refurb, do it properly as looks poor. Pool OK but tub was like a washing machine, needed some de-foamer.. Breakfast was OK, box standard. 1 issue we had was disrespect of neighbouring rooms blasting TV in their rooms, finally had to complain to reception after midnight as was a joke. Would I return, yeah at a cheap deal.
Great room, obviously recently modernised, very clean, very quiet.
Breakfast was good/hot, though the pastries werent great. The young lady looking after breakfast was fab, single handedly doing everything, and doing it very well..
Check in wasnt great, 3 people behind the desk, (2 chatting possibly about work ) and 1 couple taking foreeeever to check in.
Eventually a 2nd person came free, and check in started. By the time we were checked in ( which was fairly quick), there was a huge queue behind us.
We looked at the gym which looked very well equipped, though we didnt have chance to use it this time.
We walked to east runcorn station, just over 20 mins walk. The route is down a country lane , so wear sensible shoes:) You can travel direct to chester, Warrington and manchester.
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Generally a good hotel. It is on a business park so not much local vibe, you definitely benefit from having a car. The upside of this is that there is loads of parking and you can travel onward very quickly. There was a problem with power in the first room but they did upgrade me. Also the room key stopped working. The staff were very good and put everything right promptly. Some of the lift interiors looked a bit scuffed. The rooms were well decorated. I was on my own so I booked a cozy room, it was... Pay a bit extra and get a standard double, it is worth it and still very reasonable. The hotel is clean and it has a nice foyer and coffee bar, some of the architecture is a bit 70's so low-rise and long corridors but well upgraded. Leisure centre staff were very helpful. Breakfast was well-priced but would benefit from a better selection of bread and more cold cuts of meat and cheese.
Had a great stay at the daresbury, we used the pool, steam room and jacuzzi facilities, very enjoyable! Stay in the room was comfortable, only thing I’d suggest is giving more than 1 pillow per person. Also room service number has changed to what was on the menu so we had to ring reception. However, every staff member we saw or spoke to couldn’t be more helpful! We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back hopefully next month!!
No spa on site, just a small swimming pool, hot tub and steam room. Sunday morning is also kids swimming lessons, which makes the pool even smaller
Rooms dont have air con, even though this is advertised, but there was a fan provided
Room was spacious and clean
Rooms were clean, everything was nice, but the fact that there was NO ac And NO fans provided instantly, made the experience horrible .

A little disappointed with my stay overall. The reception staff were lovely, welcoming, and friendly, which made for a great first impression.
Unfortunately, my experience with room service wasn't as positive. The first person I spoke to seemed a little disorganised, and after waiting over an hour for the food I had ordered, I called back only to be told it had been delivered to the wrong room. As there was no answer at that room, no one thought to call me to let me know, which felt a little unprofessional. A quick phone call would have resolved the situation! It might be good practice for staff to double-check room numbers when taking orders to help prevent this in the future.
The room itself appeared to have been recently refurbished and was generally clean and tidy. However, whenever the toilet was flushed or the bathroom tap was running, there was a very loud buzzing noise coming from beneath the bathroom. The noise was quite irritating and continued until the water was turned off.
Staff facilities amenities cleanliness. Couldn't fault the place or price. Maybe they should consider air con in the rooms. But I'm not knocking points of because we stayed in the heatwave. That's the only reason we needed air con. Other than that great study
Thank you
