"The room was overall very clean. There was a spill of sorts from a previous tennant in the corner near the air conditioner that attracted ants. We bought some spray from the Walmart and dispatched them. Also, at times there was a musty odor, but was difficult to separate from the smell of the cedar."

"My second year staying here. Stayed 6 days this year. This house is very close to Blanchard Springs. My favorite thing about the house is all of the outdoor entertainment area. Has rap around porches on the main floor and has a great outdoor downstairs area below the main floor that has lots of seating and a hammock. Also well lit with ceiling fans. Also has a nice fire pit that I used to cook hot dogs and marshmallows several times. I have a 12 and 6 year old that really love the house, it really does have a treehouse feel. The 12 year old really enjoys sleeping in the loft area. It is close enough to things to do like the town of Mountain View and Blanchard springs yet feels very secluded. I plan on staying again next year, seems to be my family’s new yearly vacation spot. You will not be disappointed with this house. It is exactly as advertised and maybe more."

"It was quaint, clean as a whistle, perfect little cottage type room away from the restaurant where we could have privacy, see the river out the back window, watch fireflies in the trees while sitting in Adirondack wooden chairs outside our room and listen to the rain. JoJo’s Catfish wharf was so good we had supper one night and lunch the next day there. Wonderful food and service. The canoe salad bar was a complete winner with me!"

"This cabin was exactly what we wanted for a weekend trip. Very clean, spacious, comfortable beds, and both porches gave places to unwind. The kitchen was fully stocked with necessary cooking supplies; all you need to provided are food/drinks! Easy front entrance and ample parking space. The hosts were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. If you're looking for privacy and rocking chairs to enjoy a breezy porch, this is the place! (Very convenient to downtown and all tourist attractions)"

"Great location as far as the restaurant is in walking distance and another great restaurant right down the road, just about 5 miles for downtown Mountain View. Beautiful lake to sit on the deck and look at. You can not fish from your cabin, which was disappointing, the cabin is just basic. Clean and neat, but no amenities, whatsoever, but a beautiful location."
