"Everything was great except I'm allergic to certain dog hair and the cabins are pet friendly, so if you have allergies just bring your medicine...other than that it was a great weekend. Staff is super polite, bed was amazing, cabin was very clean and the on site restaurant was really good. Best burger I've ever had, if you want to eat there it's by reservation only."

"My husband and I stayed here for the eclipse and had a good experience being able to see it from the deck ( a few new leaves added interest to the view). The inside space is as well done and efficiently arranged as any 600 sf space I've been in. We were comfortable, bed and linens were all very good. Added benefit was watching an eagle's nest!"

"House is beautiful. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook! Goergeous lake view. We enjoyed our afternoons playing games on the huge deck. Liked the gumbo at Angie’s and great BBQ restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay!!!"

"This home was situated on the bank of the Little Red River as described. The screened in back porch and deck were perfect for lounging after a day boating and fishing. Although the river was very high during our stay, we did catch fish from the home's private dock. In addition, as someone who struggles with tactile sleeping issues while traveling (and often take my own bedding), I can attest that the sheets and pillowcases were soft and breathable. This detail made me feel like I was home away...

"my daughters best friend lives in Mtn View so she stayed with her family and my best friend of almost 50 years met me there for some fun at the Folk Festival. The Little House on the Hill was absolutely perfect for our getaway. We loved the location and the place!! I can’t say enough good things about this place and the host.
