The AC was in excellent working condition. Our cabin was clean and very comfortable. It met our every need. Great communication with our host, Cheryl. We will be back for another stay at The Little House on the Hill!
The Little House on the Hill was the perfect place for our family to stay. Located very close to Mountain View, Blanchard Springs, and the Buffalo River, we were able to do many activities in the area, including floating the Buffalo River, visiting Blanchard Springs Caverns & the Ozark Folk Center, and taking in many musical evenings. The cabin was clean, cozy & comfortable and we enjoyed a great vacation in Mountain View.
So cute and cozy! The mixture of old and new elements was so charming! Everything you need is provided. The owner left a book with clear and thorough instructions and also lists of things to do and places to eat while in Mt. View. Would definitely recommend and we would love to stay here the next time we’re in the area!
The cabin is a restored vintage home with lots of gorgeous wooden accents and all the expected amenities. The fire pit with s'mores makings was a thoughtful touch and we did enjoy it. The owner was friendly and responsive to messages, and we plan on staying here again next year.
It was a very charming and quaint little house. It was very clean and well stocked with necessities. It was very quiet but you didn’t feel isolated. I would recommend it for a small family.
my daughters best friend lives in Mtn View so she stayed with her family and my best friend of almost 50 years met me there for some fun at the Folk Festival. The Little House on the Hill was absolutely perfect for our getaway. We loved the location and the place!! I can’t say enough good things about this place and the host. Will definitely stay again! 😃

This was the last stop on our vacation trek through Northern AR and was by far the absolute best! The rates are affordable, good communication with owners, most everything you need is supplied for you e.g. fire wood, grill with charcoal and starter fluid, utensils, just to name a few. But the best was obviously the supplies for making smores at the camp fire! My wife LOVED IT! The little home is clean, well taken care of, beautiful scenery, long front porch with rocking chairs. We can't say enough good things about "The Little House on the Hill!" We will most certainly be back in the not too distant future! Hopefully just in time to see the leaves changing colors this fall!!!
I could not stop talking about how adorable the cabin was. It was perfect for our little family. The only surprise for me was the pictures made me think it had separate bedrooms. The beds are in one room, this was a pleasant surprise for me. I have small children and was nervous about them being in a different room. Clean, comfortable, cute.
We came to Mtn View for a family getaway. We were dlighted to find the cabin as shown in the pics. It was lovely. Clean, comfortable and sweetky decorated. We enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit after a busy day in the area, and our girls enjoyed roasting the narshmallows Ms Sheryl so thoughtfully left for her guests (all the ingredients for s'mores). We loved rocking on the front porch & watching the cows across the way.
Everything you need to cook with & eat with and on is provided. Beds were fully made, towels and washclothes in the bathroom, and they all smelled fresh and clean.
Everything offered in the ad is here. But, if you're like me, you may miss what isn't here-a washer & dryer, nor an iron/ironing board. Easily remedied with the laundromat in town. We just needed a quick tumbke for our church clothes...lol.
We would stay here again and will tell our friends for sure.
Property was perfect for us for what we needed. Air condition was on when we got there so cool. We really appreciated that everything was clean. Will stay there again for sure.!
Perfect location close to everything, yet still secluded. Love the little house on the hill. Very clean and felt like home. Was able to sit on the porch drink our morning coffee and watch the deer. Can't wait to stay again.
House was clean and very comfortable, great price! Close to the town and completely private. Coffee was provided for morning and we enjoyed starting our day in the rocking chairs on the porch.
