The 87Getaway Cabin #1

  • A park like setting close to the Blanchard Spring Caverns. An outdoor rustic feel and still close to town. Fire pits, satellite television, and barbecue grills help give you the feel of being in nature without sacrificing the comforts you are used to at home.

    Cabin #1 at 87Getaway has one bedroom and one bath. It is set up as a studio with a queen sized bed. Stainless steel appliances contrast the feel of being in nature. Under a blanket of trees sits your perfect getaway with a small concrete patio, BBQ grill, and a fire pit for a real feeling of camping until you turn in for the night with the amenities that you're accustomed to at home.

    Close to the Ozark National forest, there is abundant wildlife surrounding you. Deer, squirrels, and birds populate the area and offer an extra layer of excitement to your stay. Being only 6 miles outside of Mountain View gives you the seclusion that you expect from a rugged themed stay, without the hassle of not being able to enjoy local stores and entertainment.

    Cabin #1 can sleep a total of 4 people comfortably spread out between a Queen sized bed and a full sized fold out sleeper sofa. It would be tight on floor space when the sofa gets folded out.

Girls getaway!

Really enjoyed how easy check in and out was. The cabin was very clean and the area was so peaceful and serene. We loved sitting on the porch swing and drinking coffee in the mornings. It was the perfect girls getaway!

Birthday and 50th Anniversary celebration

We booked this charming cabin for four night's and when we asked for an extra night Frank and Calob made it happen. The cabin itself was so nice. Everything was clean with plenty towels and supplies. Everything you'd need to be comfortable during the stay. The bed was so cozy and comfortable. Little Joey the kitty visited us and was a pleasure to have around. We enjoyed evenings of sitting in the nice swing watching the wildlife. I cant say enough good about our visit for our birthdays and anniversary get away. I will definitely stay here again! Getaway cabin 1

Cabin was a concrete block building. Not fancy or rustic interior. Quiet retreat. Kitchen and bathroom well stocked and perfect size. There was table in the kitchen with 2 chairs. The bed was very comfortable but the sleeper sofa bed was not. There was not a fitted sheet for the sleeper only 1 flat sheet and a bed spread and two pillows. The cabin does sleep 4, but eating as a group of four would be done in the bedroom/living room or outside under the covered porch. There was a fire ring with wood and a separate grill, but only two chairs for the fire ring. AC was a window unit which worked very well and we were very comfortable. Check in and out was easy. Cabin was easy to find.
