"It was a really quirky and interesting hotel, very clean, and the staff desk staff were very helpful. The one weird thing was that I left the "do not disturb" sign out for my whole one-week stay and someone came in and cleaned the bathroom and replaced towels that were not on the floor while I was out one day. "We had a one day extended stay after A 10 day Greek Isle cruise before flying home in order to finish touring Tome, Vatican and Sistine Chapel. We arrived before checkin time. They allow you to store luggage, told us some good spots to eat. We returned less than an hour and our room was ready early. Able to put bags in room and literally walk across the street and up the steps to the Vatican! Fantastic location. It is NOT a real touristy area but nothing there is except the Vatican. "

"Fantastic budget choice and super convenient for Vatican City and Metro. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Don't book if you are expecting 4* luxury on a 2* budget! This hotel though was very clean,(old but functional) spacious enough and a great place to stay if you are ok with not having all the bells and whistles, read the material on AC and check-in times etc before you book, they are explained. "The location was excellent everything you needed on doorstep and short walk to all main tourist attractions. A little noisy at night being close to bars but still managed to get good night sleep. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Some furniture items were tired but apartment was very safe and staff were excellent. I would recommend this to others and have no problems booking again. The transfers to and from the airport were excellent! "
