"Absolutely adorable little cottage set amongst the trees of a beautiful horse farm. Perfect accommodations for someone traveling alone, or for 2 friends. Super clean and modern updates & decorations. Outside pavered patio with seating, grill & hot tub surrounded by edison lighting is a peaceful, relaxing way to end the day. There's even a hammock hanging in the trees! Owner Melissa was so helpful with making my stay as comfortable as possible. Met her husband Chris, he was so nice & helpful with pointing out the walking trails around the property. Had an excellent dinner one night at the brewery in the nice downtown section of Burgaw. Will absolutely stay again if I get the chance & would hope to stay longer, my trip was too short!"

"We chose to stay in Burgaw to save a little money instead of staying in Wilmington during the Fourth of July week. Our daughter had orientation for UNCW which was just 30min away. The house was clean and neat. It was fully stocked. The only thing we missed was a microwave. Also, the water was high in iron but I suspect that’s a regional issue. Great job fixing up this house!"

"This property is now under transition and remodeling, and the current management team there should be commended for creating a safe, comfortable lodging under temporary difficult conditions. I suspect they are working under a very tight budget, and they should be commended for their work and helped with realistic suggestions for continued upgrading of the facility. I would be happy to return there when I'm in the area. The staff went out of its way to make my stay comfortable and pleasant."
