Great location for caves & Hobbiton. Lovely peaceful outlooks. Thoughtfully furnished and decorated. Owner has considered EV cars and overnight charging is possible. Recommended

Idyllic
Idyllic country getaway! Here you will experience rural NZ at its best. Incredible views of rolling green hills, berry fields and happy cows and chickens! The house was warm, cosy and clean and the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special.

Right place to stay before Waitomo Caves adventure.
We needed a place within easy drive to our caving adventure the next morning. Berry View Cottage was very clean, cozy, and owner is a very nice person. Thanks for a great stay!

Liz was very welcoming and even introduced us to their chickens. The cows in the paddock next door greeted us in the morning. The cottage was quaint and tidy; while it was outside of the township, it was just close enough to get food and do activities.

Comfortable country cottage
Liz was very welcoming when we arrived. The cottage was on the smaller side but had everything we needed for a couple night stay. It had a large deck overlooking the adjacent fields.

Quiet and comfortable location
Had a wonderful stay at the beautifully appointed Berry Cottage, very comfortable and only a few kms to the nearest shopping centre. The Hosts were wonderful and extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend this property.

This is a lovely wee self-contained property that completely met our needs for whilst we were there. The milk in the fridge from the owners on our arrival was very much appreciated. Beautiful, quiet place to stay.

Cosy and beautiful cottage
This property was one of the best ones we have stayed at. The place was so warm and cosy and it felt just like home. Everything was so clean and my toddler loved running around and exploring the house. The house was exactly like the photos. It was such a peaceful and tranquil place to spend the long weekend. We can’t wait to come back again. The hosts were so friendly on arrival and made us feel at ease. We loved our stay here.

Clean and all you need
A cute little place, great for the one night and not far into the town for dinner. The kids loved exploring the garden and seeing the cows next door. The owners kindly let my daughter feed the chooks. Friendly people. Many thanks.

Lovely cottage in the country!
Exceptionally clean and comfortable cottage in a rural setting only a short drive into town. Located a reasonable distance from many local attractions as shown in the listing. We were on the go a lot and did not have much time to spend at the cottage, wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the deck and picnic table. Check-in process was very smooth and all communications with manager were excellent. Thank you for an outstanding experience in New Zealand!

Amazing views and beautiful setting.
Liz was available for any issues we had and was very friendly. The cottage is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and cozy. There were lots of personal touches that made our stay special (eg. homemade jams, vegemite, fresh plums, and personal recommendations from Liz). It would be perfect for a small family. ..fitted all 5 of us for a short stay, but would be a little cramped for a long stay. We loved the outdoor deck and ate most of our meals out there. The kids loved the trampoline and enjoyed berry picking next door. The property is located about 5-8 mins drive out of town in idyllic surrounds. The sunset was just beautiful out our windows. Just be aware that although there is a fridge in the property, there is no freezer...don't buy ice cream like we did before we arrived (but if you do, melted icecream and fresh crushed berry milkshakes are quite delicious!) Thanks Liz for a relaxing stay in your cottage.
