"This hotel is lovely. Clean, modern, nicely appointed. Our rooms were large. The restaurant was fantastic - great food and decor. The included continental breakfast was very good. The location in Kingston was charming. There are just 3 things keeping me from giving a 5 star review: first, it was not clear to us when booking that the rooms are in several buildings 2 blocks apart, so we hauled all our luggage out, put it back in the car, and hauled it out again - in the rain. "We loved that this designated historic property is in a historic district - barely half a block from NYState's first senate house! - and maintains a historic "feel" while offering contemporary amenities. Loved the suite style accomodations. The friendly but unobtrusive hosts were always available to help or explain things and told us where to find dining nearby - within easy walking distance, and interesting facts about the town's development. "
