"Overall, we had a good stay. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the cleanliness was disappointing. There was a lot of dog hair inside the cabin and on the outdoor furniture and cushions. We also found dust and cobwebs around the ceiling and light fixtures, making it seem like the cabin had not been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. "First room we checked into had the lock flipped and maintenance items inside so we were given a new room. Room was clean and nice. Wish that breakfast started a bit earlier, at least with grab & go foods for getting out early to watch the sunrise. Only real complaint was that our keys were consistently deactivating, even when stored away from our phones, so we would go all the way up to our floor then have to come all the way back down after a long day because we couldn’t get in the room. It was an easy fix each time, but front desk said it happens often when you leave the premed is at all, so would be nice for a fix for that because after walking 20k+ steps, you just want to be able to get in your room and relax. Otherwise, room was great, breakfast was good & fresh, AC worked well, and staff was kind & helpful."
