Not sure whether Chaiin Hotel Dongmen or Hotel.com is responsible…
I booked in April for 5 nights at the Chaiin Hotel Taipei in July where I always stayed in the past 10+ years. But this time, I was assigned to sleep literally on the floor in a super small room behind the checkin area. Not only that, the daily breakfast was not included and, to have the room clean, special arrangement needed to be made with the hotel management each time. (I ended up spending more money to upgrade to a windowless room upstairs)! Tell me I had a choice?
Please explain to me as a loyal “silver member of Hotel.com why I was totally mislead by information on the Hotel.com when I made the bookings!
Similarly, for two other hotels booked on this month long trip still in progress, I was given also by surprise the worst possible rooms in Holiday Inn Express Kwun Tong, Kowloon and Burlington Hotel Wanzai, Hong Kong, both these rooms are in low level, back of the building, extra small, dark, views are looking into the back of neighboring buildings (served and dumpsters area…you get the picture).
Again to say that I am disappointed would be an understatement, Hotel.com please explain to me for all the lousy rooms and surprises I have experienced for all 3 hotels in Hong Kong and Taipei???
