"All staff were helpful &friendly &provided excellent client service.Norman in charge of the restaurant definitely must have a special mention as he is excellent & a top professional.Amy housekeeping supervisor was so helpful &our room was spotless.Queens hotel must have an excellent recruitment & training programme in place & this is reflected in the service provided by their staff. "Great stay in pleasantly/conveniently situated hotel. The leisure suite was brilliant except hot tub was only lukewarm on last day - no extra charge for this so we used 4 times on our 2 night break. Breakfast excellent and had one bar meal in hotel which was good. There is a Toby Carvery which is within easy walking distance as an alternative. Plenty of comfortable areas to sit and have free coffee around the bar/reception area."

"Great hotel! Beautiful spa (free to hotel guests) and the pool lead out to great sun area with a beautiful pond and fountain in the background. Just a very nice area and nice grounds. The only reason I ding the service is coz I ordered lunch (sandwiches) and waited an hour. Now to be fair there a large wedding but even so……"

"Very friendly and helpful staff, the receptionist, and I think her name was Sarah, was particularly helpful and friendly, and welcomed me with a smile. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and the service attentive and a good choice of different dishes. The room was fresh and modern and the bed very comfortable indeed. It was also very quiet in the room with no intrusive noises from traffic or anything. I didn't have the time to use the leisure facilities unfortunately so can't comment. Nice hotel and staff! "
