Everything about this hotel, whether it be for a wedding or a party event (ours was Xmas party), this place rocks! Staff were spot on, attention to detail superb, and the Superior suite that i had, wow, Just wow!!! Perfect stay, perfect place!

Holiday in Gloucesteshire

Hotel had a very relaxed ambience, and we had good food and a comfortable room. Receptionist was enthusiastically welcoming, extremely efficient and very helpful.

A good break

A very nice and comfortable hotel, with excellent and friendly staff. Food is very good too and the hotel is in a lovely location, only reservation is that there is no lift so guests should be aware that they should ask for a lower floor if they need it.

The hotel was well located for our visit to various attractions that we knew we wanted to visit. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and despite 3 wedding taking place during the weekend whilst we were there, these didn't interfere with our stay, noise wise or people wise, so not obtrusive to non-wedding guests. Room was a good size and very clean. Couldn't fault our stay.

Very enjoyable stay. Dog friendly too. Set in lovely grounds and peaceful and quiet area. Room was large and warm, with good facilities. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was good. We had just a one night stay but are considering coming back for a weekend break very soon.

We had a room on the 4th floor standard room, the curtains near the wall had mould on them. The bathroom was very retro in decor. pillows need replacing. Bed was fine. Overall outside looked nice.
